Dr. and Mrs. Jeff Voegtlin have enjoyed working with the singles’ group at FBC.  This group takes part in numerous activities and service opportunities throughout the year.  Recently they attended a retreat hosted by Bible Baptist Church of Grand Forks, North Dakota.  It was a  three-day event with lots of good preaching and enjoyable fellowship.  Among the speakers was a Fairhaven Baptist College alumni, Pastor Dave Mallinak.

On Labor Day, the group went on a bike ride along Lake Michigan in Chicago.  They started at Pastor Courtney Lewis’ church in Hyde Park and then biked to Navy Pier and back.  They ended the evening with dessert and fellowship at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
