43 years ago Roger Voegtlin came to Chesterton believing God had called him to start an old-fashioned Baptist church. Today, by God’s grace, Fairhaven is a thriving congregation that draws people from up to 30 miles away. Over one million have ridden the Sunday School buses, thousands have attended Camp Fairhaven, and many hundreds have graduated from the Academy and Bible College going out across America and around the world starting independent Baptist churches and working as pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and Christian school teachers. This year, on September 22, we are celebrating our church’s 43rd Anniversary. We have planned a special day in honor of this occasion and would like for you to join us. Our morning service will start at 10 a.m., followed by dinner on the grounds, canoeing and fishing on our lake, hay rides, horse rides, and lots of fun and games for children.
