Good news!

Our church registration, which ran out last October, just got renewed!  That is the cause of us having to leave, so we should be on track to go back on our planned date of March 20th.  There are several hoops to jump through before that, however.  So we would appreciate your continued prayers.

They have been having good attendance since we left, with two or three new families coming.  Teen attendance has maintained and even increased some, I think, since we came back, so we are rejoicing in that.  Children’s church attendance has dropped slightly in the cold of winter, but that is normal.  But attendance is still above previous years.  The children have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks, and though they were supposed to go back this week, because of the cold they extended their vacation to the end of the month.  Joe Lemon and his family are doing an excellent job filling in for us during this time.

We are in Indiana at our home church at present.  Becky and our two oldest daughters are in Alaska.  They will be back next Tuesday and then we will head back to Maryland to be with my mother to spend some time with her.  My father went to be with the Lord a couple of weeks ago, so we are thankful for the opportunity to spend some time with my mother at this time.
